Hallo Leute,
ich habe hier SuSE 5.1 mit 'ner Teles S0/16.3C PNP am laufen. Als ISP
benutze ich UUnet. Ich habe alles (scheinbar) richtig konfiguriert, also
eine Verbindung zu UUnet klappt auch. Aber wenn ich z.B. ping www.uunet.de
eingebe, kommt "unknown host".
Also ist der Nameserver scheinbar nicht richtig konfiguriert. Laut der
Support-Page von UUnet, ist die IP des Nameservers 192.76.144.66
Wenn ich nun "online" bin, und einen ping auf diese IP loslasse, kommt er
*nicht* zurueck! Wenn ich aber meine Remote IP anpinge, kommt der Ping mit
30 ms zurueck. Unter Windows wird mir aber als Nameserver 193.101.111.10
bzw. 193.101.111.20 angegeben. Ich habe diese auch probeweise in
/etc/resolv.conf eingetragen, aber es funktioniert auch nicht.

Das Device ippp0 habe ich auf die IP 1.2.3.4 gesetzt, und fuer diese IP in
/etc/hostname den Namen mirror. Falls noch Informationen benoetigt werden,
schreibt mir.
