dpkg --configure sasl2-bin und Backuppfad

Hi,

ich habe beim Upgrade von Debian einen Pfad zum Backup der /etc/sasldb2
angeben sollen. Dieser war sagen wir /home/backup/sasldb2.
Bei der Installation meldete dpkg:

Configuring sasl2-bin
---------------------

Failed to back up /etc/sasldb2

The /etc/sasldb2 file could not be backed up with the file name you
specified.

This is a fatal error and will cause the package installation to fail.

Please eliminate all possible reasons that might lead to this failure,
and try to configure this package again.

dpkg: error processing sasl2-bin (--configure):
 subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 1
Errors were encountered while processing:
 sasl2-bin

Diese Meldung kommt nun jedes Mal, wenn ich dpkg --configure sasl2-bin
aufrufe, ohne dass ich zuvor nach einem Backuppfad gefragt werde.

Wo speichert dpkg denn die dort gemachten Angaben? Kann ich das
irgendwie resetten?

Der o.g. Pfad ist gueltig und beschreibbar.
