Festplatten-Zugriffsfehler


Hallo,

ich kopiere oefters ganze Festplatten (im Wechselrahmen). Die beiden
Platten haengen an einem Promise-Onboard-Controller. Das Script
dafuer ist langjaehrig bewaehrt und liegt neuerdings auf einer dritten
Festplatte, zusammen mit einem kompletten Suse10.0 ohne Grafik, das
nur fuer diese Aufgabe gebootet wird, um die zu kopierenden
Festplatten unbenutzt zu haben.

Gelegentlich kommt es dazu, dass das Script haengen bleibt!

Ein ausfuehrlicher smartctl-test meldet "Completed without error",
nur UDMA-Errors wurden ein paar gezaehlt:
