D.h. das System steht, das RAID ist für die Katz und damit hat man evtl. einen Datenverlust (von dem was noch nicht auf dem RAID gelandet ist). Daher sollte man bei einem IDE-RAID darauf achten, das jede Platte an einem eigenem Bus hängt. Hier hat das HOWTO völlig recht. Als Alternative gibt es SATA, USB-Platten, USB-Sticks, oder auch Remote-Backup (z.b. auf nen billigen vserver).
